Use ACT Planning construction licence information and Access Canberra public registers for electricians, plumbers, drainers, gasfitters and gas appliance workers. Use ARC for refrigerant handling.
What to check in ACT
For fixed-wired equipment, RCD/safety-switch symptoms, 240V testing and electrical component work.
For gas heaters, burners, gas valves, gas pressure, flues and combustion-related work.
For regulated water, drainage, gas pipework and connected building services.
For heat pump work involving refrigerant handling or relevant components.
